Typhoon Falcon, with its international name Khanun, has exited the Philippine area of responsibility (PAR) and is currently located approximately 765 km Northeast of Itbayat, Batanes.
The southwest monsoon, locally known as “Habagat,” continues to influence weather conditions over Luzon and Visayas, which is being reinforced by the effects of Typhoon Falcon (Khanun).
In Western Visayas, generally fair weather is expected for the most part, although isolated rain showers, occasional gusty winds, and thunderstorms brought about by the southwest monsoon and localized thunderstorms are still possible.
Wind conditions will range from moderate to strong, and sea conditions will range from moderate to rough.
