“To ensure the safety and general welfare of children and residents of Iloilo City, I approve the recommendation of the Iloilo City Emergency Operations Center to suspend the face-to-face and blended classes in all levels in both public and private educational institutions in the City of Iloilo this afternoon, July 26.
“Based on available data and observation, today Iloilo City will experience monsoon rains and will bring moderate to heavy rainfall with 50-100 mm rainfall accumulation due to Southwest Monsoon enhanced by Typhoon Egay. Strong Winds and Rough Waves (DOST-PAGASA),”
