Baguio City, Philippines – In a heartwarming celebration of love, Kapamilya actor and politician Arjo Atayde and actress-host Maine Mendoza have officially become husband and wife after exchanging vows at the Alphaland Baguio Mountain Lodges Chapel on Friday.
The couple, who had been together for more than four years, finally said their “I dos” in the presence of their loved ones and esteemed guests. Among the power couple’s principal sponsors were ABS-CBN President and CEO Carlo Katigbak and Dreamscape Entertainment boss Deo Endrinal, signifying the support and admiration they have garnered within the entertainment industry.
Adding a touch of nostalgia to the special day, veteran hosts Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, and Joey de Leon, popularly known as Eat Bulaga’s “Tito, Vic, and Joey,” stood as their wedding godfathers. The ceremony was also graced by the presence of prominent politicians, including House Speaker Martin Romualdez and Sen. Migz Zubiri, who took on the roles of principal sponsors.
Enchong Dee and Joseph Marco, both esteemed actors, joined the entourage as groomsmen, while the stunning bridesmaids included Maja Salvador, beauty queen MJ Lastimosa, Ciara Sotto, Kristine Hermosa, and Sheena Halili, adding more glitz and glamour to the occasion.

Earlier in the week, Arjo Atayde’s mother, Sylvia Sanchez, organized a heartfelt bridal shower for Maine Mendoza, expressing her excitement and love for her soon-to-be daughter-in-law.

In a candid interview with ABS-CBN News, Atayde expressed his unwavering dedication to his now-wife, Maine Mendoza. He stated, “Definitely once we’re married, Maine is definitely my priority. (Then) family and Congress. But definitely, Maine will always be my priority.”
