Vice President Duterte to Attend World Teacher’s Day Event in Panaad this Coming September

Vice President Sara Duterte and Department of Education (DepEd) Secretary will be attending the upcoming World Teacher’s Day celebration at Panaad Park and Stadium in Barangay Mansilingan, Bacolod City on September 8, 2023.

This was one of the topics discussed during the quarterly meeting of the Provincial School Board, led by Governor Eugenio Jose Lacson, which also included preparations for the opening of classes on August 29.

According to DepEd Negros Occidental spokesperson Ian Arnold Arnaiz, approximately 3,400 teachers from the province will be participating in this event.
