Baseball Elementary Boys from Igbaras, Iloilo, have emerged as frontrunners in the ongoing Iloilo Schools Sports Integrated Meet 2024, currently being held at Sta. Barbara Elementary School.
Securing victories against formidable opponents, including Mina and Sta. Barbara, the Igbaras team showcased their prowess with a commanding score of 25-2 against Mina and a hard-fought win of 12-10 against Sta. Barbara in previous matches.
Under the guidance of Coach Sandy Elgario, the team is poised for further success as they await their crossover match on the following day. Coach Elgario expressed optimism, stating that they are hopeful to secure a spot in the championship game slated for Friday.
