An ordinary cat living in a barn in New Jersey has become an instant sensation on social media. This happened after Leo the cat captured the attention of netizens when a video of his playful antics in a Home Depot store, which now serves as his home, was posted online.
When Jeffrey Simpkins visited the store, Leo immediately caught his attention, and he documented the cat’s playful behavior. Leo was seen wearing a necklace and a jacket with many pockets, and he had numerous sleeping spots inside the shop.
Because of his unique and friendly personality, Leo’s TikTok video garnered 4.5 million views in just one day. According to store employees, Leo initially lived in the barn on the property and was brought into the store to help control the rodent population.
Leo’s health is well taken care of through regular check-ups with a veterinarian, and precautions are in place to ensure his safety when the store is closed. Thanks to Leo’s positive presence, many customers come to the shop just to catch a glimpse of him, spreading good vibes all around.
