The much-anticipated cage fight challenge pitting Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg against Elon Musk, the owner of X (formerly known as Twitter), has kept the world on edge. As excitement continues to build around this impending high-stakes showdown, Musk recently took to Twitter to offer a sneak peek into his “fighting style.”
Musk retweeted a post shared by the official WWE Twitter handle, featuring a video from the wrestling ring with the caption: “No way!!! #TribalCombat #SummerSlam.” Accompanying the video, Musk declared, “I am going with WWE as my fighting style.”
This revelation comes on the heels of Musk’s earlier tweet, in which he shared that he has been incorporating weightlifting into his daily routine as part of his preparation for the fight. “I am lifting weights throughout the day, preparing for the fight. Don’t have time to work out, so I just bring them to work,” Musk’s tweet explained.
In response, Mark Zuckerberg took to a post on Threads, stating, “I am ready today. I suggested Aug 26 when he first challenged, but he hasn’t confirmed. Not holding my breath.” In a subsequent comment, Zuckerberg reaffirmed his commitment to the sport, saying, “I love this sport and will continue competing with people who train no matter what happens here.”
Amidst the growing anticipation, Musk disclosed that the cage fight will be “live-streamed” on his platform, with all proceeds dedicated to charity for veterans. “Zuck vs Musk fight will be live-streamed on ‘X’. All proceeds will go to charity for veterans,” Musk announced. However, Zuckerberg responded with a suggestion to use a “more reliable platform” that could effectively raise funds for charity.
As a recap, the cage fight challenge was initiated by Elon Musk in June, when he threw down the gauntlet to Mark Zuckerberg via a tweet. Zuckerberg’s response, inquiring about the location, sparked widespread speculation and excitement over the impending showdown
