Mayor Elizalde G. Pueyo, in collaboration with the Red Cross Youth Cabatuan Chapter, actively participated in the National Climate Change Forum 2024 by spearheading a tree planting activity in Barangay Leong, Cabatuan, Iloilo. This initiative reflects the local government’s commitment to combating climate change and promoting environmental sustainability.
The event was a significant community effort, with the invaluable support of the Barangay Officials of Barangay Leong. Their dedication and hard work ensured the success of the activity, which aimed to increase green cover and enhance biodiversity in the region.
