The Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit (PDEU) led the operation, which came after weeks of surveillance and monitoring by the Sta. Barbara and Pavia Municipal Police Stations. Acting on an anonymous tip from an informant, the police swiftly acted to apprehend Lamera, believed to be involved in drug transactions in the area.
Lamera, identified as a high-value individual (HVI) by the authorities, was caught in possession of 19 sachets of illegal drugs, with an estimated street value of PHP 503,200. The confiscated substances were suspected to be shabu, a highly addictive and dangerous stimulant.
