A tragic incident occurred on Tuesday, September 19, as an employee of the Iloilo Provincial Capitol was discovered lifeless in his rented apartment.
The victim has been identified as 54-year-old Rolando Santacera, a resident of San Joaquin, Iloilo, but was temporarily residing in Barangay San Agustin, Iloilo City.
According to the landlord, they became concerned when they could not locate Santacera and asked his neighbors about his whereabouts. Someone suggested that he might have gone to Boracay.
Worryingly, Santacera had not been on duty for two days, and his family was unable to reach him through his cellphone.
Upon entering his room, the shocking discovery was made – the lifeless body of Santacera.
