The next chapter of leadership at Iloilo Science and Technology University (ISAT U) has been unveiled with the announcement of Dr. Gabriel Salistre Jr. as the incoming president. The news was shared by ISAT University’s Public Information Office through their official Facebook page.
“We are pleased to announce that Dr. Gabriel M. Salistre Jr. is the next President of the Iloilo Science and Technology University and Technology University,” the statement read.
Dr. Salistre, a Doctor of Industrial Technology, brings a wealth of academic and administrative experience to his new role. He had previously served as the Vice President for Administration and Finance at ISAT U, making him well-acquainted with the institution’s operations and values.
Stepping into this position, Dr. Salistre is set to succeed Dr. Raul Muyong, the former president of ISAT U, who has recently taken on a pivotal role as the Director IV of the Commission on Higher Education (CHED).
The announcement of Dr. Salistre’s presidency reflects ISAT University’s commitment to continuity and progress, ensuring a seamless transition in leadership as the institution continues its pursuit of academic excellence and innovation.
