La Paz, Iloilo City – A shocking incident unfolded in La Paz, Iloilo City today as a pair of severed hands was discovered inside a sack near the roadside in Zone 2, Barangay Ticud. The disturbing find was made at approximately 5 AM on November 6, sending shockwaves through the local community.
Adver Jadulos, who encountered the sack while attending to his carabao in front of his farm, initially presumed it contained abandoned kittens. However, upon closer inspection, he was horrified to find the gruesome sight of a pair of severed hands.
Promptly responding to the scene, law enforcement and Scene of Crime Operations (SOCO) teams initiated a thorough investigation. Preliminary findings suggest that the severed hands belong to a male individual. Notably, there are no discernible identifying features such as tattoos, bracelets, watches, or rings on the hands.
Lieutenant Greg Matutino, the head of La Paz PNP, noted in an initial statement that the location, devoid of streetlights and surrounded by trees and coconut palms, is often deserted. This isolated nature of the area may have played a role in its selection for this macabre act. Authorities are intensifying efforts to establish the identity of the individual to whom the hands belong and to unravel the circumstances surrounding this disturbing discovery
