The Philippine Embassy in Riyadh has issued a scam alert for Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) in Saudi Arabia, warning them against individuals offering fake and fraudulent government documents.
In connection with this, the embassy advises Filipinos in the region to only process their documents within the premises of the Philippine Embassy in Riyadh or alternatively at the Philippine Consulate in Jeddah. The embassy also cautioned that forgery or falsification of documents carries penalties including fines and imprisonment.
