This significant agreement was spearheaded by Major General Elpidio Talja, commander of the Air Force Reserve Command of the Philippine Air Force, Matty TreƱas, Executive Assistant of the Iloilo City Government, and Dr. Joselito Villaruz, President of WVSU.
With over a thousand registered athletes from various universities across Regions 6, 7, and 8, according to Talja, the competition is set to showcase the region’s finest talents. Participants will compete in seven exciting sporting events, including athletics, boxing, arnis, kickboxing, basketball, volleyball, and e-sports.
Talja emphasized that the Philippine ROTC Games aim to nurture and refine the skills of Filipino athletes while unearthing potential talents capable of representing the Philippines in world-class sports events.
