ILOILO CITY- As part of the ongoing celebration of the 34th National Statistics Month with the theme “Accelerating Progress: Promoting Data and Statistics for a Healthy Philippines,” the Province of Iloilo is all set to host a Provincial Statistics Quiz. The event, scheduled for 1:00 PM today, will take place at the 2nd Floor of the Social Hall, Casa Real, Old Capitol, Iloilo City.
The quiz competition is expected to be a fierce battle of wits, with schools from across the province participating. The top three winning schools will have the honor of representing Iloilo Province in the upcoming Regional Statistics Quiz, which is scheduled for October 19, 2023, at the Jalaur Hall of NEDA-Region VI.
In preparation for the main event, an elimination activity will be conducted to determine the final participants. The objective is to limit the number of schools competing to 50, ensuring a high level of competition and promoting the importance of data and statistics in accelerating progress and achieving a healthy Philippines. This event is expected to draw a keen interest from students, educators, and the wider community, highlighting the significance of statistics in the development and growth of the region.
