The Iloilo-Antique National Road at Indag-asan Tiolas, San Joaquin – Antique, has once again been temporarily closed due to an ongoing landslide.
According to the advisory from the San Joaquin Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (MDRRMC), rocks continue to dislodge and the soil in the area is gradually giving way.
In light of this situation, all motorists are advised to take a detour via the coastal road (Anini-y-Daa, Antique) until further notice.
This temporary closure serves as a precautionary measure to ensure the safety of travelers and prevent potential accidents caused by the ongoing landslide. Local authorities are closely monitoring the situation and will provide updates as necessary.
