In a recent update provided by MORE Power, it has been revealed that an incident involving Circuit Breakers (CB) 11, 12, and 32 at the PPC (Power Plant Complex) led to a tripping incident, causing an unscheduled power interruption. The update comes from the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines – Agus-Pulangi Control Center (NGCP-ACC).
MORE Power is keen to clarify that their Line 2, linked to CB22, did not encounter a tripping event, indicating that their line remains unaffected.
The company is currently in close coordination with NGCP-ACC in an effort to identify the root cause of the unscheduled power interruption.
As of 6:54 PM, some substations have already been re-energized, including City Proper, Molo, Mobile, and Megaworld Substations.
Residents experiencing continued power loss are encouraged to reach out directly to MORE Power Iloilo through direct messaging for assistance and updates.
