A construction worker was apprehended by Molo Philippine National Police (PNP) on the night of August 2, 2023, for allegedly possessing and distributing illegal drugs in a buy-bust operation.
Jay-ar Siason, 33, residing in Barangay San Juan, Molo, was taken into custody after authorities successfully purchased a sachet of suspected shabu from him using marked money amounting to P3,500.
Upon arrest, law enforcement discovered an additional five sachets of suspected shabu in Siason’s possession, with a combined weight of approximately two grams. Alongside the confiscated drugs, authorities seized P13,600 in cash believed to be proceeds from the illicit drug trade.
Siason, identified as a Street Level Individual (SLI) involved in the local drug scene, works as a construction worker when not allegedly engaging in illegal activities. He is now facing charges related to the possession and distribution of illegal substances.
The apprehension of Siason underscores the dedication of local law enforcement to curbing drug-related crimes within the community, ensuring the safety and security of its residents.
